The intellectual and political policy paper
I believed important to write about what happened between the presidential candidate, Michelle Bachelet and historian, Alfredo Jocelyn-Holt. Breaking the Impasse contingent and wondering is it really worth insulting a public person from another public forum, even though you do not have the status of "political" as is generally thought to be done?. My answer is yes, it is certain that the candidate can be paper or a simple "media effect", however I can not stop thinking about the lightness of the argument, because it ends with a semi serious conception we have in Chile on institutions, only to reduce public issues to what made the Lord of the picture ... to end the political and paint a world plagued by authoritarianism, may sound strange, but good accounts, if we keep putting the finger at politics and politicians the issue will be irreversible, and heaven confessed caught us back to a second great dictatorship in less than two centuries.
Finally, what remains is back again to remember how much we cost a lot to get a democratic respect for our country, and the cost we understand the game of democracy. Is too large for an "intellectual" but try to put another finger in the wound of democracy (which is on the political side.) I do not justify the mediocrity and false campaigns is simply that some can not but express our discomfort with some hotheads who feel their frustration when day after day and year after year are as they lose power and popularity, and even worse, become more useless ...
