What is your fear?

"dark Shadows ... Imagine a sea hitting rocks, black gray castle ... an eternal twilight black and white. A voice from beyond terrifying flooded the black image with a diabolical and sinister. "So Veronica describes their evening watching TV" big, with the outline of wood "while his frightened brothers and their parents slept, any movement created terror, silence burial from fear of "dark shadows". They stayed until about midnight watching fear (it is too late for the current standard). Barnabas!! But it caused even more fear was Dracula ... Veronica remembers well his brother when the sheets were tied around the neck for that night did not bite him "the devil" was terrible! black and white.

Some great special effects flooding the Matinee Lady Celeste ... King Kong was a "masterpiece" in terms of special effects .... Terrifying! and macabre. "I remember that my brother was punished, not letting go to a matinee, my mother begged him to go with me. It was there that I met THE HUMAN CAYMAN (actually my brother forced me to articulate a plan for him to go to the Matinee terrifying to watch movies at the time), my nights were getting worse ... "

A whole new generation of Chileans this seems from another century (no offense to anyone). The truth is that I got scared with the aliens, especially with autopsy false (I can not see the image) and ET (he was too green for me). Another endless source of fear are the clowns and goblins. Do you remember THAT IT clown or evil? What the Elf Leprechaun diabolical? Freddy Kruger?

is fun to meet Chileans fear, fear imported or national fear, fear fear in color or black and white ... The truth is that it is attractive, that triggers a hidden pleasure and moves us to see what we do not want to overextend see only our mind and know "evil."

Y. .. " What is your fear?

"Ideology of Conquest in Latin America"

Returning and returning to make sense of this blog community would discuss a topic that is quite recurrent in our continent. I do it on purpose of Vila Cristian Riquelme book "Ideology of Conquest in Latin America" (Ed.Nobel). Most curious is the descent of the title and this is what, briefly, I share "Among the axolotl and the platypus."
The axolotl is an animal that has the characteristic to stay for a long time "born", spends much of his life at birth, on the other side is the platypus, animal mix, which has a duck beak when it is not ducks, has rabbit body when it is not and costs a lot to define its genre animal.

Not so Latin America? Are not we as the axolotl when ever born, when we host, when conception of totalitarianism, we have an West combined with the spirit of Touriane when he argues that "The experience of Latin America must renew the thought socialy guard against all ideologies that seek to eliminate the men, their projects and their conflicts in a story that would be done outside of them "? I think if the crowd, the disagreements, the multiple political tendencies and ethno-religious cultural push toward unity lame, the lame Bolivarian dream.
At the same time we can be like the platypus, nobody knows what it is, but is there, is, and we do not know because we are many, especially because we are multicultural and diverse language-strangely-, cultural diversity the same English and Western Christians are totalitarian but also individual and different. From a lost war under what cultural rules? Even a democracy "to Latin"
I love Latin America, but the truth is that not valuing the axolotl and the platypus or aberrations deeply ...
