"Ideology of Conquest in Latin America"

Returning and returning to make sense of this blog community would discuss a topic that is quite recurrent in our continent. I do it on purpose of Vila Cristian Riquelme book "Ideology of Conquest in Latin America" (Ed.Nobel). Most curious is the descent of the title and this is what, briefly, I share "Among the axolotl and the platypus."
The axolotl is an animal that has the characteristic to stay for a long time "born", spends much of his life at birth, on the other side is the platypus, animal mix, which has a duck beak when it is not ducks, has rabbit body when it is not and costs a lot to define its genre animal.

Not so Latin America? Are not we as the axolotl when ever born, when we host, when conception of totalitarianism, we have an West combined with the spirit of Touriane when he argues that "The experience of Latin America must renew the thought socialy guard against all ideologies that seek to eliminate the men, their projects and their conflicts in a story that would be done outside of them "? I think if the crowd, the disagreements, the multiple political tendencies and ethno-religious cultural push toward unity lame, the lame Bolivarian dream.
At the same time we can be like the platypus, nobody knows what it is, but is there, is, and we do not know because we are many, especially because we are multicultural and diverse language-strangely-, cultural diversity the same English and Western Christians are totalitarian but also individual and different. From a lost war under what cultural rules? Even a democracy "to Latin"
I love Latin America, but the truth is that not valuing the axolotl and the platypus or aberrations deeply ...
